Kieren worked as a staff nurse in a busy city hospital before training to become one of the few male midwives in the UK today when he gained the university award of achievement in academia and practice. Having helped hundreds of babies into the world, Kieren quickly realised the power of the mind during childbirth. He went on to train as a Master NLP practitioner and Trainer and is a registered hypnotherapist. Together with his wife Jai, they have built an ever-expanding client base in their successful therapy business Next Step NLP. Kieren has now begun working with various health organisations to help facilitate improvements in client-centred care. Utilising their joint experiences and learnings both Kieren and Jai teach women the tools for a more comfortable, enjoyable birth, empowering them to take control of their birthing so that they can enjoy what is the most monumental experience of their lives!
